Business Talent Permanent Visa-Subclass 132
This visa allows people to invest in new or expand an existing business in Australia. It has two main streams:
Significant Business History Stream- Visa Subclass 132
Experience business owners can have this visa to manage a new or existing business in Australia.
- Net value of at least AUD 1.5 million which is lawfully acquired.
- Before you are invited to apply; for at least 2 of the 4 fiscal years the annual business turnover should be at least AUD 3million.
- Before you are invited to apply for at least 2 of the 4 fiscal years, the total net assets should be of at least AUD 400,000 as the ownership interest in either one or more qualifying business.
- Venture Capital Entrepreneur Stream- Visa Subclass 132
People who have sourced venture capital funding from Australian Investment Council (AIC) can have this visa.
- From an Australian venture capital firm you must have financial support of at least AUD 1million.
Factors affecting processing time of Business Visa for Australia

- A score of around 65 is mandatory on the points test.
- Before you are invited to apply; for at least 2 of the 4 fiscal years the annual business minimum turnover should be at least AUD$500,000.
Nominated business should own at least one of the following:
- The value of ownership interest must be – 51% of a business turnover of less than AUD400,000 per year
- The value of ownership interest must be – 30% of a business turnover of AUD400,000 or more per year
- The value of ownership interest must be -10% of a business that is publicly listed company
-Business owner should possess personal and business asset accounting to total of AUD 800,000 in a lawful manner and within the period of two years from visa grant, it must be free for legal transfer to Australian territory.
Business should provide trade service, technical service and professional service; also the business owner should not spend more of half the time to provide those services.
Investor Visa – Australian PR by investment:
- You should be less that the age of 55 years .If the business proposition is outstanding and of any advantage to State, this requirement maybe waived.
- A score of around 65 is mandatory on the points test.
- Applicant must have three years of experience in managing the business.
- Applicant should show a successful history of qualifying business activities.
- The business owner must hold back the desire to maintain typical management role in business situated in Australia.
- Income earn from investment is subjected to taxation laws.
- Working rights are permitted to family members.
